Some photos from a trip we made to Abergavenny in Wales. Abergavenny is right next to Brecon Beacons National Park and has more beautiful walks than you can poke a stick at.

The Abergavenny museum is located in the remains of the old castle walls. It had a fantastic display downstairs of an old general store that had once been open on the main street, with all the original tins and signs from throughout the last century.

Our walk up the Sugarloaf (Y Fal) hill near Abergavenny

We took a walk up to the summit of Sugarloaf (Y Fal) hill which is just a few miles from Abervagenny and has fantastic views looking towards the Brecon Beacon National Park.

Sheep sh*t was everywhere we walked.

Plenty of sheep droppings everywhere to avoid

The trail led back down to town through a small forest.

Another walk we did was in an area with a large number of waterfalls inside the park itself.
