Walks From My Doorstep, Part I

It seems I have been doing far too much riding. Last time I checked, Stef has clocked up almost 20,000 miles (i lost track after my original bike computer died). Usually at this time of year I find it can be some of the best riding. Sure it’s cold but the riding is perfect – no insects, no-one else about and clear, crisp blue skies. But this year it’s been a bit too cold.

To stretch my winter legs I did my usual walk up to the racecourse but decided to keep going. It was a bit muddy but a lovely clear day. I eventually made it down to Roedean on the coast and then walked back into Brighton. Reminded me of why I love living here so much; being able to walk out my front door and be in the countryside so quickly.
