A bit late, but better late than never. I am only now beginning to sort through our photos from as far back as September last year – that’s how far behind I am with my photo processing. I have been busy working on another project that up until now I had abandoned for the last five years. Hopefully soon I will have it up here but ‘soon’ in my terms could be another year or so.
These photos are from the End of the Road festival that we went to last year. A wonderful three-days of good music, good food, and good vibes.
The festival has been held in North Dorset (near Salisbury) for the last five years and has played host to a wonderful assortment of musicians from around the globe. A lot of Americana and alt.country. Several of our favourite bands played and the weather gods were good to us so it was quite memorable.
Not many photos here, I was using a compact so excuse the noisiness. Most of these photos were taken by my wife. Our favourites were seeing Sam Beam of Iron and Wine play a solo set, the Low Anthem who blew everyone away, and Wilco who finished the festival on a high note. Yo La Tengo sucked.
